Hi, I’m Erin!

Who are the FIF MENTORS?

The FIF MENTORS have been through the FIF Craft Certification program, and now are FULL time in the film industry. They are always working on set.

FIF Mentor Erin completed the FIF Craft Certification program, and is now dominating the film industry. Before she did the mentorship program, she was trying to get into the film industry, just like you!

The FIF Mentors are popping in to help you and answer questions, but keep in mind, we are doing this for FREE. We are on 14 hour/day shoots ourselves during this training so we will help you when we can.

The FIF Mentors are here to show you the incredible program that Friends in Film is, and you can see that it leads directly to people working in the film industry FULL TIME.

For a large chunk of 2017 I worked at a Production Company in Atlanta as an Executive Assistant – I was on a set day rate and would be paid an additional rate for each shoot I worked on. I would work wardrobe, art department, camera department, overall assisting. I learned SO MUCH for working there.

MY LIFE BEFORE THE FIF CRAFT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM:

Life before the program was a lot of wishing. I worked as a waitress at a fine dinning restaurant and I had dreams of becoming a working actor. The problem I was finding was that I didn’t have time to Audition or network. I was always working to pay the bills. I didn’t know how to meet the right people. It was like a never ending cycle.

MY LIFE NOW!

Now I have built up my resume, I have made a ton of money in the industry and have not worked a “regular job” since 2016. I solely pay my bills from industry work.

My ultimate goal is still Acting and I made enough money last year in production work to take time to 100 pursue my career in Acting. I will take odd jobs here and there for fun or because It seems like a super cool project, but I spend my days auditioning, training and working out. Thanks to Janet and Friends in film. One of my most valuable take aways from Friends in Film was the connection aspect. How to connect and stay connected to the Key holders.

If you have any questions on how I shaped my now life please don’t hesitate to ask!
